Ten years ago I made one of the best friends I ever had, and ever will, make. Ten years and countless adventures, arguments and crys on each other's shoulders later, and I can say I thoroughly enjoyed my 20s, and most of that is because of Alex Mendenhall. I still have like a half-dozen more best friends here and he's not dying or anything, but he'll live across the country, I'll only see him twice a year and I won't be able to be at his house in 15 minutes every day anymore, and there's a big unfillable Alex-shaped hole in my heart because of that. Goodbye, brother. I'll miss you.
